I know it may not feel like it but spring is quickly approaching and I am ready to whip out some of my favorite dresses! While browsing through some of Madewell’s new arrivals I immediately fell in love with this blue retro faded stripe dress. I love the style and polished look this dress gives off especially when it’s paired with those classic boyish penny loafers. And I can’t forget those round sunnies that just completed this cool boyish femi retro look! Do you love this look?

Whether or not you had a chance to see the most talked about movies of the year, there is no way you could have missed the Oscars red carpet. Last night the movie stars were out looking stunning from head to toe in beautiful gowns, tuxes and I could not get enough of all the glitz and the glam. Here are my top picks of best dressed….
Jumpers are back! I remember rocking overall’s as a young girl and now its back with a whole new look! I love how we are seeing the trend in leather rather than the typical denim one piece. If you want the look go shop Pixie Market at http://www.pixiemarket.com/new/wythe-leather-overalls.html
Braids have been a hot hair trend, and I am totally obsessed with this headband braid. This boho chic look is a great style for messy hair days and for the warmer days to keep long out of the face. What I love most about this do is that the hair is styled with a fishtail braid rather then the traditional French or Dutch braid. If you want to learn how to achieve this look check back in for a hair tutorial!
Between fashion week and Target commercials I have been constantly hearing about the Prabal Gurung Collection at Target. So I finally walked across the street to my local Target to check out the collection, and I love it! The signature floral colorful print can be found on many of the pieces in the collection. I decided to purchase the pull over sweatshirt because it’s such a fun and chic look. What I love about the sweatshirt is that its super cozy and I love how the print goes throughout the front and back of the shirt. This piece is a great transitional look for spring. So if you love the look just as much as I do go head over to your local Target and shop the collection!

Last night Grammy Awards was to recognize the great talented musicians of the year, but there would be no Grammy’s without fashion. I could not wait to see some of my favorite celeberties style; especially since there was a new dress code in place. And might I say some of these ladies pushed the dress code to the limit. Many celebs hit the red carpet wearing some hot and not so hot trends of the season. Here are some of my favorite looks that hit the carpet.
Ms. Kelly Rowland actually surprised me last night rocking this gorgeous black gown by George Chakra.
And Rhi-Rhi just can’t do any wrong in my book she always looks beautifully I did expect more from the pop star, but Rihanna kept it classy in a pretty red custom made dress by Alaia.
Mrs. Carter is sometimes a hit or miss with fashion but last night Beyonce was on trend with a Black & White one piece that was super chic go Bey!!!
And we cannot forget about our American Sweet Heart Taylor Swift. She looked amazing and goddessy in this white gown by J. Mendel, and her hair just pulled the look completely together!
For the not so hot I will have to give it to Florence Welch I just was not feeling her whole aligator skin look. The color was beautiful, but it was not my cup of tea, but I love that she was daring and went for it.
